Mini Rugby
- This caters for boys from u7 – u9
- The game is played with only 10 players, 5 forwards and 5 backs
- The games are between 10 and 15 min each way
- The scrums and lineouts are uncontested; team putting in the ball gets the ball
- The matches are normally played across a normal field, but slightly narrower than a half field.
- The matches are played barefoot
15 Man Rugby
- Caters for the following ages: u11, u13, u14, u15, u16 and u19
- The teams u11 and u13 play barefoot; all other teams play with boots
- The duration of the matches are between 20 and 30 minutes each way depending on the age group
- All scrums and lineouts are contested (unless decided otherwise on the day)
- Scrums are carefully watched and one side cannot scrum the other back further than 1 metre
7’s Rugby
The rugby teams also participate in 7’s tournaments in the u13 and u19 age categories.
